The NJEX series odorization systems represent
the leading technology in placing Ethyl Mercaptan, a.k.a. odorant,
into natural gas flow streams. These systems are engineered to
measure and inject precise amounts of liquid odorant into each
cubic foot, or meter, of gas that flows down the pipeline.
Our systems are, and always have been, the leading edge in technology.
The new NJEX 300 series systems offer technology that allows remote
communications, system analysis and reconfiguration in real time
via a direct or SCADA comm link. Their odorant measurement resolution
is unsurpassed in accuracy to allow you to know exactly how much
odorant is placed into the flow stream, not guessing at what’s
absorbed.
NJEX systems offer a variety of features
and options to inject into a range of flow rates from low volume
distribution systems to main-line transmission |

systems. Some of
these features and options include:
Single,
double, or multiple injection
systems top provide redundancy or
high flow capability
An
odorization pump, measurement
device, electronic controller and other
components specifically designed
and built for odorization use.
Skid
mounted tanks and secondary
containment skids
Insulated
cabinets with optional
heaters
Remote
communications, system
analysis, and alarm indication for
reliable operation |

Our NJEX systems have a brain and they know
how to talk. Our Windows™ based Sentry4 software is specifically
written for odorization system management and employs communication,
alarm management, remote diagnostic and reporting functions to
allow remote management of the NJEX systems in real-time.
Each NJEX system is ready to communicate through the use of Modbus™
protocol, which supports both RTU and ASCII formats. As a standard
feature, the NJEX units have two RS-485 commlinks, which are configurable
for either redundant SCADA communication or one SCADA and one
direct Sentry4 commlink. |
|
 |
| |
| The Sentry4 software can utilize one of those
commlinks to allow you to remotely monitor system operation from
your laptop or PC. This can be especially helpful if Gas Control
receives an operation alarm in the middle of night, during the
dead of winter. Imagine for a moment a 2:00am alarm call comes
in from your odorization system to Gas Control. Instead of suiting
up in the middle of the night and driving 50, 100 or more miles
you can now walk over to your computer in your robe and slippers,
and dial up the NJEX to see what’s happening. Once on-line
you can analyze the situation, reset parameters if appropriate,
start-up a redundant system, and determine if a crew needs to
work that overtime for the night. With other systems, you're on
the road, with NJEX, you’re working smart. |

DTEX incorporates microprocessor technology
to ensure the safe use of natural gas. Targeted toward meeting
the standards where the scent of odorant must be readily detectable
by the human nose, the DTEX blends precise mixtures of air and
gas to meet odorant survey test criteria and then records the
data.
Capable of conducting two different test methods, the new DTEX
Dual Process system can perform either odor concentration or odor
intensity to meet the type of test methodology your company impellents
for your odorant survey tests. |
|
 |
| |
| DTEX is a small handheld instrument that provides
the user step-by-step instructions, which typically allow tests
to be completed in 2 to 3 minutes. The DTEX microprocessor technology
eliminates the need for flow tubes and cross reference charts
and allows the on-board storage of 50 test locations and up to
100 tests. Back in the office the test results can be individually
reviewed and downloaded into a PC with the Reporter software. |
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
The Reporter Software provides the final link
between you and total automation in your odorant level detection
program. It provides an available list of test sites and users
on your PC or notebook to easily upload to your DTEX then go to
the field. Basically the Reporter Software eliminates forms to
complete and repetitive data entry.
|
|
 |
| |
| With the DTEX System and Reporter Software,
you can simply download the test results to your PC, review the
data, store it in your database, run analyses, and print the results.
Because DTEX can operate as a stand-alone unit or with the Reporter
Software Program, you are provided with unmatched flexibility
to meet the simplest or most involved odorant level detection
program. |
